Housemates are multifaceted, female, non-binary, between the ages of 17 - 40s, in school, college and/or working, but we strive for a living space that can be quiet, respectful and conducive to peace and quiet. We do not rent rooms to pay for vacations. We rent rooms so everyone can AFFORD to LIVE The room: - Unfurnished -14 ft x 9ft - wall to wall shelves The house: -Shared kitchenS, shower/bathroomS, laundry. - Lots of spare cupboard spaces in the bathroom, hallway, basement common space and kitchen. -Access to outdoor space for visitors or gatherings. Extras info: -Parking AVAILABLE (no extra charge) -"Must love dogs and rabbits". The animals in house are not only pets but working animals. You dont need to be friends with them, only be respectful. -We can NOT take extra animals/pets due to allergies and/or bylaw. Please do not ask to bring your cat as someone in the house has cat allergies. Rules: We share a space but no one is here to clean or take care of you. Everyone is busy and everyone must pitch in. You will be expected to: - take out your own trash, recycling, ect. - assist in keep one common area tidy. (Which ever one you spend most take in). - bathroom cleaning once a month. We all do this. -Cannabis friendly (Outdoors only) -No indoor smoking - No drinking/parties Do not hesitate to request a quick tour, in person or on video. Notes: Note about accusing others about bad behavior: We have had people try to blame their bad behavior on the teenager because they are a teenager. That wont fly because the late teens is tidier/cleaner, more ambitious, respectful and responsible than most adults we have met. Note about being responsible/feeding ones self: I will NOT be cooking for you. I am not sure why people have asked this. Note about cleaning schedules: I do not micro manage people and therefore will not be making cleaning schedules for everyone like I am their personal managers (or mothers). Again, I am not sure why this is being asked. -I had someone ask if they could store stuff in the living room but would not elaborate on what. This is a home that I try to maintain as best as I can for everyone who lives here and not a storage facility. This is an actual home. Thank you.
