Hi everyone! looking for a friendly roomie to fill a room in our four bedroom house close to Nanaimo & E.Broadway from May 1st - onward. It is a furnished bedroom (Mattress / bed frame, desk & chair) and has a single window facing east. Great size and low price in E.Van. This is a modest home; charming E.Van house and a bit older, but still lovely in a quiet family neighborhood. - $755.00/month, utilities (varies by season) and internet (20.00 per month). - 12min walk to Commercial / Broadway station. Renfrew station is about a 8-10 minute walk. - multiple transit options within 2-3 minutes of front door. - Single person occupancy only (No couples! - please do not inquire about double occupancy) - Shared utilities - Kitchen is complete with a fridge, microwave, gas oven/stove, sink etc.. - Free washing machine and dryer in the basement, which is shared with downstairs neighbors - Lots of natural light throughout the rest of the house - Classic hardwood flooring throughout most of the suite with portions of carpeting. - Bathroom with shower and lots of toiletries spacing. - A garden at the front and back of the house that is open for use - Shared supplies like toilet paper, dish soap household cleaners and hand soap is cover by myself and you will not be charged (read: free!) - Free street parking in the front and parking in the back of the house. - No Smoking allowed in the house. please do so in the ally. - No pets allowed This is a peaceful, relaxed house. We are two (31 and 45year old) sociable professionals, enjoy music, hiking, cycling, beach days and getting away into the mountains on weekends. There is random artwork around the house and it’s important to us that the house feels homey and comfortable. This is a friendly space, but due to size restrictions, partying is a no-go. I'm looking for someone who is responsible, down-to-earth and pro-active in maintaining cleanliness and attending to various household tasks. Ideally, would like to offer the space to students or a working professional. We work together as a team to make the house a pleasant place to live. About Renfrew

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Renfrew. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway or one of the railway lines. Lastly, the majority of locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to parks, such as Renfrew Ravine Park and Falaise Park, since there are a few of them close by for residents to check out.
