    My husband and I collect rugs, and know quite a bit about them. We got this one on auction. I've copied the previous seller's description below.

    "Persian Hamedan mat that you can use as a welcome mat or backrest or frame it and hang it on the wall. Woven by sheep wool on a cotton foundation.Natural colour and 100% sheep wool. Natural colour means the colour is insect and plant-based. Unlike chemical colours, natural colours are not allergic to kids/pets. This piece is washed professionally and is ready to use.

    Condition: Scratches.

    Measurements: 59*40 Cm / 1.11*1.3 ft"
