Description

Betty Van is sadly up for sale due to her not having any room for a car seat. She's an extended body 2008 GMC Savana powered by a 4.8L vortex V8. She is a little rough around the edges having spent the beginning of her life as a work van. Mechanically shes a beast having never left us high and dry. Over the years we've replaced a few things like control arms, bushings, brakes, and things of that nature but besides regular oil changes she's never needed more from us. All in all I wouldn't think twice about taking Betty Van across country tomorrow.

She is not completely built out as that has been an ongoing project for me. So far shes had; -Spray foam insulation throughout the cargo area -Sound deadening to the floor of the cab area -After market deck (bluetooth compatible) -Aluminum cage to protect you from all your belongings in the event of a crash -Weather guard roof rack -3 x 100 watt solar panels installed to roof rack -2000 watt pure sine wave inverter -170 AH lithium battery -Renogy Rover Li 40 amp charge controller -Multiple 120v and 12v outlets -both pot lights and string lights -Fan-Tastic model 3350 air vent -Sliding drawers. 2 accessed from the side doors each 3 feet deep and each easily able to hold a weeks worth of clothes. The other two accessed from the rear the larger of the two 6 feet deep. -Comes with a queen sized memory foam mattress (not pictured) -It currently has a Dometic CFX3 55 litre fridge that may come with it depending on agreed price -There is also a bunch of building material that comes with it such as fan cover, flooring, electrical equipment, tools, vehicle safety and maintenance stuff, heater, camping gear, RV hook up, and a bunch of other useful gear (so long as you want it.) -I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting

The bad; -She does have rebuild status from being rear ended -She is far from being mint cosmetically having been a work van -There is a light that will come on the dash when you start up the van saying that there is low tire pressure but that is because Betty Van doesn't have the tire sensors anymore and her computer can't comprehend that loss.

The van is located in Campbell River but I would be willing to deliver it to most places in BC if we were able to come to an agreement. I can also do video calls if you want me to walk you around to get a better look at the van or take it into a mechanic of your choice for you to get an inspection done.

If you have any questions about Betty Van please ask away. I will not respond to "Is this still available?"
