This enables us to provide a broad array of end-to-end services designed to alleviate the burden so that carriers can concentrate on what they do best - haul freight safely and on-time.

Trux Solution is seeking to expand its business outreach and is currently seeking to recruit for a senior manager to become part of our management team as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Industry Sector – Transportation & Warehousing – North America

General overview

The role of Vice President – Sales & Marketing requires the incumbent to develop, plan, execute the strategy of the company’s sales and marketing growth initiatives as outlined by its principal stakeholders – shareholders, executive senior management team and investors. This role will entail formulating policies which will establish the direction to be taken with other members of the board of directors. The incumbent will assume responsibilities as a director and a board member.

Main duties • Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs • Present to the board a strategic plan outlining both financial resources and human capital required to fulfill the growth initiatives with board approval. • Organize the major departments and associated senior staff positions required to meet the approved policies and programs. • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement company policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning. • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments. • Interact with other senior executives or directors such as finance, operations and the board. • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.

Employment requirements • A minimum of 8 years of similar or related experience within the same industry sector or a similar executive role in a sector managing a large pool of assets, including both physical assets and human resource assets. • A university degree or advanced post graduate degree in business administration, commerce or other discipline related to the company's product is usually required. • Several years of experience as a middle manager in products and/or services within durable goods production or transportation are usually required. • Specialization in a particular functional area or product is possible through specific university or college training in that area or through previous experience. • The ability to present ideas in a coherent and persuasive manner with the use of the most up to date technological interactive methods.

Salary : $53.88 per hour Job Type : Permanent , Full-Time
