Job Description:Sales Executive - Audiovisual/IT/UC - OTTAWAOur company, a leading provider of Audio Visual Integration, Video Conferencing, and Unified Communications services is seeking experienced Sales Executives in the following Ontario locations: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)OttawaLondonKitchenerWaterloo Responsibilities:Sell goods and services to end customers in enterprise, goverment and education (K-12, University) verticalsDevelop a detailed understanding of our products and servicesExhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's visual collaboration needsDevelop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and that are profitableTravel up to 30% to cover regional sales responsibilities Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnelActive and ongoing prospecting in the territoryDesign and implement focused prospecting tools to include; webinars, seminars, email campaigns, etc. to increase sales and expand our customer base in the designated territoryAccountability: Strong, detailed sales pipeline/funnel reportingEducation, Experience and Skills Requirements:The successful sales professional will be highly motivated and have a proven track record of established sales success with customers3-5+ years of outside sales experience with at least 7+ years in audiovisual integration sales, Unified Communications sales, IP Networking and data sales, telepresence sales, telecommunications services sales, or software application sales is preferredA four year college degree is preferredThe sales person will possess excellent communications skills, (both verbal and written) be organized and comfortable with on-line forecasting tools and have the ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customersDirect selling experience in the Unified Communications area is helpful. Candidates should have experience selling network services, Unified Communications, VoIP, sip, h.323, Cisco telepresence, Tandberg, Polycom, Codian, Lifesize, Extron, Creston, AMX products, as well as integration, professional and managed services
