Freshly renovated and modernly furnished 1-bedroom apartment in the lower level of a West-End home. This 500sq ft apartment was built, finished, and furnished by us with the goal of creating an inviting space for those needing the flexibility of a move-in ready place for medium term stays. Whether you are a young professional trying a new job, in town on contract, or on course, we’re offering a fully furnished place to live with month-to-month terms. Think a nice private AirBNB at apartment prices. If you have a unique circumstance and can’t seem to find a solution, let us know and we’d be happy to consider it.
Location:
On a quiet street near the Chebucto/Connaught intersection. 1 minute walk (160m) to Chebucto with direct bus lines into the city.

Appliances:
Both the fridge and stove are high quality 24” units. What you get with better units is more useable space for the size. The oven will accommodate most regular sized baking sheets and the fridge has a well organized 12 cubic feet of space. Small appliances include a microwave, and a coffee maker.
Living Room:
The living room enjoys a decently sized three seat couch which pulls out to a double bed. The 42” TV is chromecast enabled to stream from any laptop or phone.
Bedroom:
The bedroom features a queen bed on a solid wood frame. The space is somewhat open concept with a half-wall dividing the living room and bedroom. There is a large walk-in closet with shelving and three cloths rods.
Entrance:
The entrance to the unit is from a separate grade-level entry off the side-street. From the outside you entre a finished mudroom with a shared storage/furnace/laundry room to the left. The entry to your unit would be through a second secured exterior door. The mudroom would be open to us as we need access to the laundry room, but you would be free to use the space to store your coats, boots, or bike.
Utilities:
All utilities are included in the rent. This includes heat, hot water, electricity, and internet. We have high speed internet through Eastlink with a download speed of 345Mbps and an upload of 11Mbps; over the last year with various tenants we have not experienced any connection issues.
Parking:
Bountiful street parking is available and is never in short supply. We unfortunately cannot guarantee an off-street parking spot this season but that shouldn’t be a problem for you as we move into the summer months.
Laundry:
On-site laundry is included in your rent. The washer/dryer are not coin operated and are located in the storage room adjacent to your unit accessible through the mudroom without having to go outside! We also use these washer/dryer for our own laundry.
Us:
We’re two young(ish) working professionals who bucked the odds and became millennial homeowners. We’re both logical straight forward people who work best with explicit expectations and clear communication. We’ve got two huskies who are both extremely friendly.
