Have the peace of mind you need when wanting calm water to partake in water activities. You will not find the current in our calm water as you will in the Winnipeg River or Lee River systems!

We have a 3 bedrooms plus den, 1351 sq for cottage with detached screened in gazebo available for rent on beautiful Longbow Lake. PET FRIENDLY!! It comfortably has sleeping accommodations for 8 adults, plus a top single bunk suitable for a child or a smaller adult. An additional cot is available at an additional cost If needing another bed.

This is a pristine, private and quiet location for a relaxing family getaway. Located approximately 10 minutes east of Kenora (2 hours from the city of Winnipeg), we are an easy car ride on a paved roads to relaxation, fantastic fishing, and good family fun!

Enjoy a fabulous view of the lake through either the wrap around windows from inside the cottage, BBQing from the large deck or the screened in gazebo, playing on your own sand beach area, or while tanning on your private dock. Your new getaway sits only 40 feet from the lake. With southern exposure you will enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets with endless days of sun on the dock. This is just the place for those who wish to spend some quality time with family and friends. It is spectacular!

Just picture waking up and having your morning coffee while looking out over the quiet bay. Watching the morning sun slowly crossing over your deck as you relax over breakfast. Spend the afternoon at the water where younger children are able to walk into the water and play. For the older, the dock is perfect for jumping off as it is 5 feet deep at the end. Perfect for swimmers of all ages! The lake is also loaded with walleye, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike, perch and crappie.

In the evening sit around one of the two fire pit areas for those evening wiener roasts and s’mores, or head into Kenora for entertainment. Even stargaze and enjoy the romantic moonlight as it glimmers and sparkles over the water while listing to the loons calling it a night in the distance.

Situated only a couple minutes to the free public boat launch, 10 minutes to Kenora, you are close to all amenities. Longbow Lake also provides you access to Lake of the Woods via the Longbow Lake lift. You can get onto Lake of the Woods without even having to trailer your boat! Even bring your golf clubs! Kenora Golf & Country club is a 15 minute drive away as well Rushing River Provincial Park is 10 minutes away. There is something for everyone!

Cottage Amenities: -1351 sq ft, open floor plan, can accommodate up to 8 people.

Living Room: -comfortable seating for 10, 60” 4K ultra HD Smart TV, DVD player, VHS player, sofa, love seat, wing back chair, 3 additional chairs, ceiling fan

Kitchen/Dining: -separate open concept kitchen and dining area, island in kitchen with two stools, full fridge with freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots and pans, baking sheet, roasters, kettle, blender, waffle maker, bottled water dispenser (water supplied), kitchen utensils, cookware, kitchen cloths/towels and dish soap will be supplied.

1 Bathroom; -toilet tissue is supplied, sink, shower, toilet (septic system not an outhouse)

3 Bedrooms: -Master: queen bed, dresser, chair, large closet, ceiling fan, patio doors out to the deck -Second: queen bed, dresser, rocking chair, table, closet and ceiling fan -Third: Bunk beds (double on bottom single on top), 50” LED HD Smart TV, DVD player, VHS player, ceiling fan, couch and chair, view of the fire pit at back.

Den: -plenty of comfortable seating, queen hide-a-bed, additional double Cot available if needed ( for an additional charge), CD player, ceiling fan, view of the fire pit at back.

Outdoor features: -BBQ with propane provided, 9X12 screened in gazebo with a large patio table and chairs, outdoor lounge set ( couch, two chairs and coffee table) is situated right in front of the patio doors off the dining room, 2 chair and table outside the master bedroom, fire pit at back, private beach-like area with second fire pit and 8 Adirondack chairs, 2 lounge chairs, 3 seater swing with cover, large cottage deck and private dock-large with 4 Adirondack chair and a 2 seater swing at the start, private, well trees, 1.75 acre lot.

TERMS: -Rental will be for 7 days minimum. -Check in is Sunday at 5p.m. -Check out is Sunday at 11a.m. -$3,500.00 per week for peak season (July, August and weeks including a holiday) -$2,500.00 per week for off season (May, June and September) -Rentals between May 28, 2023 to September 24, 2023

$500 reservation/damage deposit required upon booking to hold reservation ( to be returned upon check out pending inspections)

Dogs are welcome at an additional cost.

We also have a boat and motor available to rent, as well as two paddleboards.

There is NO smoking inside the cottage or gazebo.
