No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Côte-des-Neiges is a fairly good option. Even though the ambience is not the most lively in this part of the city, its busier streets are still quite energetic, and with its a few nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. Côte-des-Neiges is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, although that is not the case close to Autoroute Décarie or one of the railway lines. The greenery in this part of the city is reasonably prominent; public green spaces, like Parc Danyluk and Parc Martin-Luther-King, are very well-spread out and there are over 100 of them nearby for residents to discover, making them very easy to reach. Residents will also find that there are numerous tree-lined streets.
