Formica ant colonies available in Vancouver.
Each colony includes:
* 1 healthy queen
* 10+ first-generation workers (nanitics)
* Brood at different stages
* Test tube setup with water reservoir
All queens were collected locally in the Lower Mainland during this summer’s nuptial flights and have successfully founded their colonies.
Beginner-friendly and easy to care for. The current first-generation workers are naturally small; later generations will generally be larger as the colony develops.
Species: Formica sp. (exact species not confirmed)
$40 per colony.
