Female bunny with large cage
Female rabbit , about 2 years old , not fixed comes with a very large cage , salt rocks inside , a mineral block . Extra large water bottle . Food & hay , she’s also litterbox trained & has a litterbox with pellets that go inside , she is free roam so she doesn’t spend much time in the cage. Does not bite, unless scared . Like for trips to the vet . She likes other animals , & is not to crazy about being held , she’s not very cuddily , & she needs to be groomed often . Brushed always or she will get Matt’s in her fur , she’s been to a groomer a few times & gets shaved, (any Matt’s we can’t brush out & around her bum ) her nails done often . She’s had a few baths because when we got her she was neglected . but does not need to be bathed often . Preferably she goes to someone with experience with her species of rabbit. Shes Holland lop. She’s a very big girl. Sheds a lot . But it won’t be an issue if you care for her properly with brushing often. . Now she needs a STRICT diet , a rabbits diet should consist of 90% Hay , 5% Pellet , & 3% fruit and veg 2% treats. Hay always . Pellets she gets a small bit every day depending on her poo , every other day. Only once a week fruit and veg & she is on digestive tract health treats . This diet has been discussed with a veterinarian & was recommended by them because she was getting a bit too much pellets and got fruit & veg 2 times a week & her poop got runny & stuck to her bum. If you check your bunny everyday like you should then you can notice it right away & decrease on something but always keep the hay. With this diet we’ve had no issues . . We’ve had children in the home and she seemed to not mind them , but as I said she’s not cuddily so she wouldn’t enjoy being held . Rabbits feel safe with a hide , or something they can get into , it helps them feel secure & comfortable .. her favourite thing to do is play in the cats house , or the cat tree parts that she can get inside , she runs back and forth with the cats and does binkys often. If you’ve owned rabbits then you know what this is , if not , a binky is a way for them to express themselves with excitement/ happiness , comfort & content . In regards to price , this fee is too ensure she goes to a good home , someone that has the money to support her & everything she will need, she is going with a decent amount of food & her treats and new toys and new stuff for the cage also , the fee is to know that if there’s an emergency you could afford her vet bills . If you can’t afford the initial cost , then how could you afford if there’s an emergency ? She is a special girl , & has been threw a lot before we rescued her from a small town & brought her to the city , we’ve done so much for this girl to be where she is today . if you feel that she can fit into your lives & lifestyle , and you’d like to her forever home please feel free to message me .
