New MTD 208cc Engine for Winter & Summer Equipment

MTD 208cc Horizontal Shaft Engine 25mm step x 3.45" keyed shaft #170-NU made by ZONGSHEN. Will replace Tecumseh and all other snowblower engines up to 12.5 HP ------------------------------------------------------------------------- On all Tecumseh engines which are 99% of the flat head variety, max safe engine speed is 3200 RPM. On this OHV design engine, it is 4200 RPM. This translates into much larger loads of snow being removed in same time and thrown further away than any Tecumseh engine.

Can throw snow up to 40 feet away. Brand new 7 Horsepower engine for Winter or Summer Applications - Summer/Snow Hybrid. Has Air Filter Bypass selection knob on top of air filter housing for winter use – warm air is continuously fed to the engine. In summer, air is routed through the air filter (included).

Use on snowblowers, rototillers, water pump, pressure washer, tamper, motorbike, go kart, log–splitter, commercial leaf blower, belt driven chipper shredder, etc – any application that uses a horizontal shaft engine from 3-10 Horsepower.

USE ON SNOWBLOWERS: 1. Can replace ALL single shaft engines. 2. Will replace MOST Tecumseh non-OHV older engines that have the snow chute turning rod to the left of the current engine. Use a longer eye bolt (or a long nut or both) on the left handle that holds the rod to move the shaft away from this engine. 3. If the chute control rod is above the older non-OHV engine, like in many Ariens snowblowers, this engine is a ready replacement to all such snow blower engines. 4. This is also a very good replacement engine if your relatively newer snowblower originally came with an engine like PowerMore, LCT, or any other OHV engine. Unlike these engine brands which can be expensive to service, this one by MTD is not. It uses what is now the most common carburetor of the world – a GX160 adjustable carburetor for 160-212cc clone engines. Adapter pulley custom machined available to replace two shaft engines.
