Description

Very rare and iconic 2006-2008 Arsenal Home Shirt with Cesc Fabregas (number 4) on the back.

This was the first shirt to be worn after Arsenal made their big move away from Highbury to the new Emirates Stadium – a historic change that is commemorated in the design on the back-collar of this shirt. Arsenal wore this home shirt in both the 06/07 campaign where they finished runners-up in the English League Cup, and in the 07/08 campaign where they made it to the quarter finals of the Champions League.

In the 06/07 season Fabregas remarkably featured in all 38 league games for the Gunners and recorded 13 assists across the campaign – his performances earned him the Golden Boy award, and a place in the 2006 UEFA Team of the Year. In the 07/08 season Fabregas continued his stellar form by scoring the winner at the San Siro in the second leg of the Round of 16 against AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League. Fabregas’ incredible season was capped off with the PFA Young Player of the Year award and a place in the PFA Team of the Year.

The soccer jersey is a size small. It is in pristine condition. The lettering and numbering are official player size Premier League print.

This is a shirt filled with history – it would be a fine addition to any Arsenal fan’s collection!
