Vintage Realistic Mach One Liquid Cooled Stereo Speakers

Vintage Realistic Mach One Liquid Cooled Stereo Speakers. These were the speakers to have in the late 70s. With monster 15" woofers plus liquid cooled tweeters and midranges, they kicked butt. They are large 29x17x12" and heavy 65 lbs. The walnut veneer cabinets are in really good condition. The covers could use new cloth (from Amazon, etc.) but the frames are solid and original. You can adjust both the tweeter and midrange levels directly on the speakers. These Mach Ones are the original model 40-4024A with rubber surrounds (not foam). You can see in the photos that the right speaker woofer has been repaired after a major wound. It doesn't affect the sound at all and has been happily functioning since the repair in the early 80s. (If the repair is not to your taste, replacement woofers are available on eBay, etc.) My brother purchased these speakers brand new and took them to university residence back in 1980. They won many, many stereo wars driven by a monster Realistic STA-2000 receiver. (The receiver is also available for purchase.) Asking $300 or best offer. Auditions are available.
