Selling my gixxer 600. I had this bike posted recently being sold in "as in" condition as the machine was no longer roadworthy, due to melted connectors in the wiring harness leading to the regulator rectifier; a common issue with this make and model.
I took the time to fix the bike and hardwired the rectifier, bypassing the issue and the vehicle is back in working order.
While it was down I purchased an aprilia rsv4, and being one man with one butt I have no need for two bikes parked at my apartment, so baby gixxer is back on the market. Sad to see her go, i loved this machine and babied her, but it's time to see her go to a good home where she'll be ridden, enjoyed and well taken care of.
This bike was maintained by the books. regular oil changes every 5000km with the best synthetic oil since I bought her with 6000 clicks, spark plugs and air filter changed every year because I'm neurotic like that, flushed the coolant regularly, upgraded and relocated the rectifier when that issue popped up, and now its been hardwired as mentioned above.
The ECU was recently flashed by the good folks at speedlab, has a 3/4 slip on m4 streetslayer exhaust, which is loud af, as well as numerous cosmetic upgrades like red handlebar grips, bar end mirrors, mirror delete and turn signals where the mirrors used to be (very cool looking imo, very sleek and streamlined) .
Bike has had oil change, spark plugs and air filter done 500km ago. Needs nothing to safety, UVIP will be available to serious inquiriers.
Price is firm, I'd rather stare at my two gorgeous bikes parked side by side then settle for less than shes worth. Cheers everyone!
