Pioneer SX-3700 Vintage Receiver with Speakers

Vintage Pioneer stereo receiver, model SX-3700 from 1980-81 boasts a power output of 45 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo) with a frequency response of 10Hz to 100kHz and low total harmonic distortion of just 0.02%. Called 'The last of the truly great Pioneer receivers', this one is universally loved; just check the reviews. This unit has been carefully cleaned inside and out but the cabinet is not perfect (7/10?) and the 'aux' button is missing. Otherwise everything, including the famous floroscan display and background lights, work as they should and it sounds great. Comes with a pair of Acoustic Audio H-CD12 three-way, bass-reflex speakers with a power handling of 250 watts (peak), long throw 12" polypropylene woofer, ferro fluid 5" mid range and a ferro fluid 3" tweeter. Has a sensitivity of 92db 1watt/1m and a frequency Response from 26 Hz to 22 KHz with individual tweeter level control. At one point, a previous owner had the speakers mounted to the wall and there are still two small screw holes on one side of each speaker. Otherwise the woodgrain finish looks good and those 12" woofers really belt out the sound!
