This is a practically new system, a complete PARADIGM Cinema70 home theater speaker system. The Cinema70 5.1 system has been highly regarded when reviewed in many consumer electronics and audiophile magazines. Google for details. It is far superior to most of its competitor’s product offerings. Retails for $899, plus tax, when ON-SALE, locally and on the web, Subwoofer, alone is worth $300!

It is a subwoofer and satellite speaker system. Unlike many smaller satellite speakers, each Cinema70 satellite speaker is built like a high-end bookshelf speaker with superior components resulting in a superior sound. They will stand up when compared to many larger bookshelf speakers.

Each satellite speaker has a 3 1/2-inch, long-throw driver and 1-inch tweeter; they weigh 3 pounds EACH! The center speaker has two of these 3 1/2-inch woofers and the same tweeter. Compare that to your home-theater-in-a-box system or to their competitor brand’s products and you know you are getting a quality improvement!

The system includes an 8-inch, 250 Watt subwoofer with crossover, volume and phase control switch plus line-level and speaker-level inputs to ensure the best integration with your audio equipment and adjustments to maximize the soundfield to suit the specifics of your listening room. I am asking $450 for the 5.1 set. I have an additional pair of the cinema70 satellite speakers if you would like a matching 7.1 set-up for an additional $100. I also have a bigger Cinema110 speaker which I had used as a center channel speaker; I could replace the smaller cinema70 center with it for an additional $100 -the center speakers is most critical to the set-up (especially for dialog) so the bigger speaker provided a noticeable enhancement.

PARADIGM has an excellent reputation; their TITAN bookshelf speakers have been among the bestselling speaker of all time (Google for details). I have a pair of enhanced Performance-series Titan Bookshelf speakers which are for sale as well. (I will try to add a photo of the bookshelf speakers, soon). The bigger bookshelf speakers used as fronts (left and right) will provide greater detail when listening to music in stereo mode and enhance the "presence" in surround mode when watching movies. Overall, it is an excellent set-up! I am asking just $250 for the pair of bookshelf speakers which could be used in combination with the 5.1 Cinema70 set creating a terrific 7.1 system for $650.
