Technics SA-GX100 AM/FM Stereo Reciever

Last good era of Technics: good old receiver with all the basics like AM/FM tuner, tone/volume controls, and inputs for CD, phono, and tape. Damping factor of 20 is sufficient to control larger speakers, and really well suited for most bookshelf speakers. One of my all time favorite amps. Simple design, very intuitive. Here’s one of the reviews found online: “ I've been using this receiver for a few years with Energy e xl 15 small bookshelf speakers using regular lamp wire to connect them and sounded ok but when I connected them using solid 14 gauge copper wire used in house wiring, I was very pleasantly surprised how much richer and clear the sound became - wow very impressive combination almost up there with my Mcintosh system. Note that its tricky to keep the solid wires connected to the receiver but worth the effort.‘
