Please read the entire ad description -please do not contact me unless you read full ad description -if you see the ad, item is available -price is FIRM for the unit, i DO NOT take offers -item will be tested for you prior to purchase -low ballers will politely be ignored and blocked -i am not an electronic technician. i do not repair electronics. -be sure to check out my other ads for good used electronics here i am offering a monster Vintage Pioneer Receiver Model SX-1010 i am selling this from one of my collections. was stored and unused for the past twenty years. i opened inside, cleaned all the controls and switches with contact cleaner. blew out all the dust with air compressor. very clean IN/OUT. i did some minor modification which i will list below otherwise everything appears to be original. receiver is in excellent working condition. the sound on this receiver is pronominal and lots of power. here are the list of cosmetic modifications i performed 1- case has teak wood. i was going stain to it but i decided to install vinyl film on it. looks great 2-case back metal grille had some minor scratches on it. i sanded it and applied a coat of semi gloss black paint on , looks great 3- i replaced all tuner display back 29mm fuse type bulbs to 29mm 8volt cool blue LED, looks bright and great face place has some scratches and nicks. you can see most in the photos. price reflects the condition but receiver is clean and with all above modifications it looks great. if you want something in mint condition then this receiver is not for you.
