This is a bigger sibling of the AD-2210 CP These amps have greatly underrated power, impressive headroom, speed and clarity and offer an incredible value for the price. The Sherwood AD-2220 CP was also manufactured and sold re-badged as LXI AM 4023 and Inkel AD2220 for North American market and UHER VG-836 for German/ European market, they are all identical in and out except badge. I have 3 of these amps, all nice, and the sound is simply fantastic. At one time this amp design was my main testing amp, as the sound is very very clear and detailed. There's no competition at this price point; even better budget to midrange Technics New Class A amp models (known for their superb sound) from the 80's are not as good.
