Sony TC-RX55 (ES) Cassette Deck

This Sony TC-RX55 is a vintage single-cassette stereo deck featuring auto-reverse, Dolby B/C noise reduction, and Dolby HX Pro headroom expansion. In the United States, this deck is marketed as an Elevated Standard (ES) tier variant, although not in Canada. I'm selling this deck cheap because I can't figure out why it won't PLAY or FF/RW. The belt has been replaced, the heads and capstan/rollers cleaned, and the unit lubed but that hasn't helped. Maybe the belt is too tight? I don't have the patience to figure it out. Here are some specs: Auto-Reverse: Quick-reversing tape transport mechanism. Noise Reduction: Dolby B/C and Dolby HX Pro logic. Head Material: Laser amorphous (LC-OFC) magnetic head configuration. Metering & Counters: Digital tape counter paired with a peak level fluorescent display meter. Priced for quick sale. Pick up in Sherwood Park at public location preferred.
