Description
For sale a unique 1997 USA built Harley Davidson Fat Boy EVO in very good condition. I purchased this motorcycle new in 1997 from a Harley dealer in Lima Peru, for the purpose of exploring South America. Over the following 4 years I used it to travel the entire coastline of the continent and made several trips into the Amazon and Andes. When I finished my adventures in 2001, I parked it in my living room and never rode it again. Apon returning to Canada 12 years ago I imported it and obtained a N.S. title for it, but it has never been registered for the road in Canada. The bike has been very well cared for and maintained it starts and runs well. In the last year it was used, to prepare for a ride to N.A., that never transpire, the motor was torn down, the cylinders rebored, and high-performance; Andrews camshaft, values and pistons were installed. Consequently, despite having 98028 kms the motor is in nearly new condition. The Giger inspired, custom paint job was done at the time of the teardown, by a Columbian artist Jon J. The bike has a wicked set of staggered 2 ½” slashed python pipes, a fat tire kit, removable wind shield, rear seat with back rest and luggage rack and a set of leather saddle bags. Also included is a t-bag and matching roll bag. She isn’t perfect, there are a couple of scratches on the paint work acquired during the move and the chrome is flaking off the timing cover and lower front forks. This unique bike is a real head turner, potential show winner and it deserves to be ridden and enjoyed. I’m willing to part with it for $12,000.
