DAVID BROWN RADICON SPEED REDUCER

The other day, I found forgotten under my bench a nifty old Radicon David Brown 30:1 speed reducer, which looks a bit grubby after kicking around under there and elsewhere for over 30 years but also shows no sign of having been used, as it has no marks on the shafts (input is .625" and output is .750") and turns freely and smoothly. It will work just fine with a 1/4 to 1/2HP motor. I was going to use this to slow down my wood-cutting band saw for use with soft metals, like aluminum or brass, but I found another way of doing that so I don't need this any more. Put the brakes on your runaway machinery for cheap!
