You will get small pieces to large plates and ever size in between. The pictures are to show the lego bulk pile I am pulling this from. You may or may not get the pieces that are in the picture. All legos are 100% lego brand and have been cleaned.
How many pieces is a pound?
Piece count is not guaranteed, since it does vary depending on the size of the random pieces that are included, but our lots are very consistent, and generally 1000 pieces weighs between 2 and 2.5 pounds. One pound is usually around 300-600 pieces, depending on the piece size.
I personally recommend at minimum 3-4 pounds for best playing and building ability (as a Lego starter kit or add-on pack), with 8-10 pounds being a nice sized collection of Lego for a typical child, and up to 20 or more pounds for the serious Lego-obsessed builder's collection! The more you order, the better overall variety of piece size and type you will receive!
