About this Coaching: This coaching is designed to improve your job interview skills for job positions or admission to professional schools.

Who will benefit from this coaching? International candidates, whose native language is not English and who are searching for job positions or schools in Canada or any other country where English is the official language. Also, candidates who don't have language issues but need to be prepared for the questions will benefit from it.

How it will help you? This coaching will help you improve your interview skills by practicing questions that are designed based on your resume, the job description or the professional school to which you are applying. More specifically, you will learn the following: Know the basics of how to prepare for an interview. Learn what kind of questions to expect given your specific background, job position or school you are interviewing for What kind of answers recruiters are looking for and how to answer some common questions How to compose effective 'war stories' that show you in the best possible light to the recruiter Practice a real interview, get feedback on how to improve Learn the right vocabulary to use during interviews that leaves a positive impact

What makes this coaching special? Your Coach is a professional who is a retired teacher and has worked as a teacher and tutor for over 20 years and worked as an Office Manager in the Accounting field for about 10 years. He holds degrees/diplomas in History & Political Science, Accounting and Education. Proof of qualifications is available upon request. He will have the knowledge and expertise required to help you succeed in your interview.

Coaching Outline: This coaching has 2 one-on-one sessions: Session 1: In the first session, the instructor will review the candidate's resume or school application material and give feedback on ways to improve. He will also give some guideline on what kind of questions the candidate should prepare for his/her interview, in preparation for Session 2. Session 2: In the second and following sessions, the instructor will design and conduct a personalized mock interview for the student. The content and format of this mock interview will be based on the student's resume, the description of the job for which the student is applying, or the student's school application material and the type of school to which the student is applying. Following the mock interview, the student will receive feedback on their performance.

We can conduct the mock interview by Zoom or telephone. I charge $50 per hour. Volume discounts are available.
