Prepping to write the LSAT this summer or fall? Limited tutoring slots still available in EDMONTON!
I am a lawyer who took early “retirement” to stay home with my children. I’ve taught a few hundred students LSAT prep for a major test prep company and for the past several years have tutored students across Canada and the United States privately. We can meet here in my home (in South Edmonton), or online if that is more convenient for you. Whether tutoring online or in person my approach is the same. (Unlike many online tutors, I use the large whiteboard in my home and you see me most of the time. It just feels more personal!)
Either way, we won’t need to worry about distractions or about distracting anybody else. We can just focus on YOU learning the LSAT skills you need. I love seeing the light bulbs turn on as students like you realize they have new ammunition to battle the LSAT.
I typically book two-hour blocks so we can really hunker down and focus on a particular section of the LSAT. I usually like to structure tutoring as a private course to equip you for everything the LSAT will throw at you. I charge $200 per 2-hour session, and for most students, recommend planning for 10 to 15 tutoring sessions. I have found over the years that that is about right for a typical LSAT prep student, but as we go along I will evaluate what is best for YOU and we can adjust that if needed. However, if you have done a lot of LSAT prep already and prefer to focus on one or two areas, we can do that.
During each session we will discuss strategy for that section of the LSAT and unique approaches for the question types that you will find in that section. We’ll then work through some real LSAT questions together. I will then provide you with a homework strategy for the following few days that is tailored to you. You’ll come away from each session feeling MUCH more confident that you can handle that component of the LSAT.
