Who am I?
I am an elementary school teacher here in the city. I have experience tutoring for over 12 years, and have been teaching for 8 years.
What does tutoring look like with me?
- A free meet and greet to discuss goals, strengths, and areas of concern.
- I try to be flexible with location. I can come to your house, meet at a library, or somewhere that is comfortable for your child to learn.
- Each session is 1 hr (or longer if needed) and usually broken up into 3-4 activities, with at least half being game/play based.
- I bring materials needed but ask that children have their own pencils and colouring items (markers, crayons or pencil crayons).
- I check in with parents regularly to show what we are working on, the progress being made, and where we plan on going.
What are my rates?
- $30 an hour.
