This picturesque destination sits amidst majestic forested mountains and the breath-taking lake. While the Twin Bays Getaway is not a lake front property, it is a quick 2-3 minute walk from beautiful Twin Bays public beach. Amenities include a screened in porch, fire pit, paddle boards & kayaks. This clean and family friendly home is the perfect place to make many memories! This full house has 2 main bedrooms (king bed and queen bed) as well as a bonus room which features a queen bed, twin bed, a pull-out couch for two as well as a tv with Roku for streaming. The living room features reclining chairs and couches for the ultimate relaxation experience in front of a large screen TV. Guests can enjoy a bright and well-equipped kitchen with a dining room right off of it for family meals. A simple modern desk for a workspace is located in the dining room as well. A screened in porch can be accessed from the kitchen where guests will find a bbq, mini-fridge, and dining table. Two updated bathrooms are available for guests to use. High-speed satellite internet is available at this location. Twin Bays is located on Highway 3A, a popular scenic touring route. Hiking, fishing, paddling, and boating are inviting activities in the immediate area. Kuskanook Harbour is a 5 minute drive for those who would like to launch their boat on Kootenay Lake. Our Airbnb has room for boat owners to park their boat at our Twin Bays Getaway. The beautiful town of Creston is aproximately 25 minutes away and is famous for its wineries, orchards, sunny weather, and outdoor activities such as golf, hiking, and visiting the wildlife centre. The quaint artisan town of Crawford Bay is aproximately 35 minutes away and is a great location to explore eclectic arts and culture as well as the Kokanee Springs Golf Resort. Canada's longest free ferry can take you to the West shore of Kootenay Lake if you would like a day trip to Nelson, Ainsworth Hotsprings or other areas.
