Beautiful mountains on the other side of the lake also reflect perfectly on the lake. The cabin is a rare mix of warmth, charm and character (hardwood floors, river rock FP, high wooden ceilings) and modern conveniences with 3 bedrooms and two bunkhouses (sleeps 10). Very pretty, cheerful and well equipped kitchen with dishes for 12 or more, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, all small appliances, espresso machine etc. Fabulous views from both inside the cabin and your huge outdoor deck as well as lakeshore seating area are incomparable, just steps from the front door. Tons of outdoor seating and 2 dining tables. Watch the sun come up over the mountains with a coffee in hand or enjoy drinks and appetizers watching the sunset highlight the mountains across the lake. Includes canoe, paddleboat, large dock plus floating dock, and lakefront fire-pit. Usually mosquito free! Several of B.C.'s best golf courses are within 30-45 minutes: Trickle Creek, St. Eugene's Mission, Kimberley, Cranbrook, Fernie Bootleg Gap and Shadow Mountain. There are several natural attractions in the area, a local Saturday farmers market., and numerous paths for hiking, running and biking right from the cabin. The water is so clear you can see fish, birds and turtles swim underwater. Watch loons, deer, osprey, eagles, king fishers, herons right from the seating area. Motor boating is permitted but only between 10 a.m. and 8. p.m., so everyone can enjoy incredible peace and nature in the morning and evening. Most of our renters have been coming for 2 weeks for 25+ years but we have an extra 10 days this year. This cabin is an incredibly magical place and a huge find!
