Looking to get away and spend time hiking numerous close by trails or kayaking/canoeing on a pristine lake? Considering renting this one bedroom condo, spread over two levels that is located on the shore of Lake Calabogie. The condo is located just steps away from the lake and you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the patio while watching the ducks walk by, or on the upstairs balcony. The upstairs bedroom is huge with a queen size bed, full bathroom as well as laundry facilitlies. On the lower level there is a powder room, fully equipped kitchen and a double sofa bed. There is a recreation area in the lodge that includes a games area, an indoor salt water pool along with a restaurant where you can sit with a glass of wine on the outdoor patio and watch the sunset. There is a small fitness centre in another close by building. Kayaks and canoes can be signed out at no additional cost and there is an outdoor play area for children. Additionally, there is a covered area with picnic tables and BBQs. A grocery and liquor store is only a few minutes walk away and there are several great restaurants in the town of Calabogie – you can walk there. The resort is located about a four-hour drive from Toronto and only a three-hour drive from Montreal.
