Secluded lakefront cottage on East Bay of Big Clear Lake, Arden Ontario. Very private and secluded setting. Includes 160 acres of attached woodlands which connects to Trans Canada Trail. There is a two km private road that leads to our cottage. Rates: Lower rates available for parties of two. June 1 to June 21- 1500 weekly June 28 to Sept 5-1900 weekly September 5 to thanksgiving 1500 weekly Weeks remaining-June 1 to 21, July 12 to Aug 2 Three bedroom cottage only feet away from waters edge. Western exposure with great sunsets over lake. In front of you is lake. Behind you is 160 acres of Canadian shield that is part of cottage lands. Includes canoe, kayaks, paddle board, bbq, fire pit, diving dock, 2 bed bunkee and screened gazebo.. Details: Cottage has three bedrooms, three piece washroom and a great room with 17 foot ceiling. The cottage is approx. 900 square feet, It has painted wood floors with no carpeting. Sleeps 6 in cottage and two children in bunkee. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, toaster, blender, coffee maker, crock pot. There is a screened gazebo at the lake. There is also a Bunkie with two bunk beds. Both buildings have power. The porch overlooking lake is 7x30 feet. There is 350 square feet of deck at lake attached to a 24 foot dock. There is a floating dock further out in lake for diving. There is a utility shed which contains adult life jackets, axes, paddles, hot dog sticks, lawn chairs and tools. There is a bbq with provided propane. There is a fire pit. There are two canoe, 3 kayaks, peddle boat, paddle board . There are paddles/ ores for all boats. You can rent assorted watercraft nearby such as a pontoon boat. There is a cell phone tower across the bay for cell phone use. There is no land line at cottage. Laundry- The nearest laundromat is in Perth (45 minute drive) The closest town with amenities is Sharbot Lake. It is a 15 minute drive from cottage. Nearby attractions: Bon Echo Provincial Park (45 min) , Trans Canada Trail (edge of our property), White Lake Fish Hatchery (10 minutes). Golf courses- 30 minutes. Lots of local artisans. A $400.00/ per week deposit is required. It is refundable if you cancel within 60 days of rental. I need the full payment one month prior to your arrival. Garbage removal not included in rental. You have to take garbage to local landfill site before you leave. I provide prepaid garbage bags. There is no smoking inside cottage. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is an extra $100.00 deposit required for pets. There is no air conditioning but the buildings are well shaded The cottage is rented from 4pm Saturday to 11 am the next Saturday unless otherwise agreed. .If you are looking for a secluded quiet time with family I am sure you will love it.
