A family cottage on stunning Jack Lake only 2 hours northeast of Toronto outside of the town of Apsley inside the Peterborough Game Preserve. Our cottage is located in Sharpe’s Bay on Fire Route 52 a short 15 minute drive into town on a well maintained road. Come spend days swimming, fishing, boating and laying in the sun! Clear water and deep swimming off the dock with no weeds. Watch breathtaking sunrises from the dock and sit in the sun until late afternoon. About the cottage A clean well maintained 3 bedroom, 1 full bath cottage -approximately 1400 sqft Bedroom one- 1 double and 1 single bunkbed Bedroom two- 1 Queen Bedroom three- 1 Queen and 1 single bunkbed The back of the cottage has a deck with a patio set. It is ideal for children to run and play, lawn games and parking for 3 cars. Level access to the cottage. A deck on the front of the cottage includes a patio set with BBQ and offers a view of the lake. A set of stairs and a slight sloped walk to the dock giving a wide view of Sharpe’s Bay with weed free swimming off the dock. A paddle boat, Canoe and 4 adult life jackets are provided. We are nestled in a small bay which provides great fishing off the dock. A public boat launch is just minutes away by boat or car. The kitchen is stocked with new dishes and cutlery. Coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and all the necessities. Off the kitchen is a woodstove and washer and dryer. The living room has lots of seating and a TV/Fire stick, DVD, books, movies, board games and unlimited WIFI. Rental Rates High season June 29th to September 7th Weekly rentals only during high season- Sunday to Sunday $2200/week Mid-season May 1st –June 29th & September 7th- October 9th May long weekend & Thanksgiving are $400/night and minimum 3 day stay required All other weeks during mid-season is $1700/week or $350 per night minimum 2 night stay required. Check out 11 am- Check in 4 pm A 50 % deposit and rental agreement is required at time of booking to confirm dates. Outstanding balance plus $500 security deposit due 30 days prior to checking in. Bed Linens available for a $80 fee ***No Events**No Smoking inside the cottage There are 2 marinas located on the lake with boat rentals, gas, Jack Lake apparel and ice cream. The town of Apsley has a grocery store, LCBO, Pharmacy, Gas Station, library with free Wi-Fi, restaurants, community centre with a gym and ice skating.
