This waterfront cottage is a 1 bedroom + loft + bath equipped with a stand up shower. Both rooms have a double bed; there is also a pull out sofa in the sunroom. The cottage is southeast facing with sunshine throughout the afternoon and early evening. There are mature trees on the property to also enjoy the shade. The cottage offers 75 feet of waterfront with a small sandy beach. The property has a gradual slope to the water with stairs to walk down to the dock. There is a dock on the property with room to dock your boat if need be. The lake does have a public boat launch at the trailer park (called Plague Paul) 5 minutes from the cottage for a $10 onetime fee. Max occupancy is 6 people, pets are allowed with restrictions. Check in is 4pm and check out is 12pm. Sandy Bay Cottage is 1 hour and 45 min from Downtown Ottawa, 1 hour and a half from Gatineau. 20 min from Gracefield, Quebec, this is where you can find grocery store (metro), pharmacy, SAQ, restaurants and water sports rental. Maniwaki is also 25 minutes north of the cottage; in Maniwaki there is a Giant Tiger, Canadian Tire, and Dollarama. The cottage has an outdoor fire pit with firewood. Flat screen TV with Bell Fibe TV as well as DVD & VHS player to play your movies. Grand Lac Rond (Roddick Lake) is located in the greater Outaouais region in the province of Quebec, specifically in the Gatineau Valley in the municipalities of Bouchette and Ste-Therese-de-la-Gautineau. The lake covers an area of 5.7km2 and houses 441 waterfront residences. In addition, there are three golf courses within 20- 25min from the cottage; • Club Golf Du Algonquin (preferred course) – 18 holes (25 min away) • Club de Golf le Sommet – 9 holes (20 min away) • Golf Domaine de l’ile Patry- 9 holes (20 min away) Included with the rental What the Cottage Has Household items; • Toilet paper • Paper towel • Coffee maker, kettle, single serve Keurig, Nespresso • Pots, pans.
