Thank you for viewing. This is an excellent all round 1967 MG BGT finished in fresh guards red paint and black interior. The car is well looked after, having spent its entire life being a summer cruiser, and never winter driven, which the low mileage reflects. Engine is the 4cyl 95 hp engine. Engine is strong, with good compression, many new parts, and an upgraded carburetor. Car showcases many extensive maintenance reciepts which include:
Brake and Clutch Master Cylinders
Front-Back Complete Suspension Bushings
Upgraded Rear Shocks
New Fuel Pump
Regular Fluid Changes
...and much more.
Mechanically the car is strong, with lots of power. I have run the car with the lead additive as the cylinder head has not been converted. Cruises along and clicks through the gears on the original 4spd with precision. Does not leak or burn oil or other fluids. Differential fluid and transmission fluid recently changed and the level remains unchanged. All guages work, speedometer is slightly optomistic (ie it says your'e going a bit faster than you are.) Strong oil pressure, temp always below 185 even on a hot summer day.
Car has undergone a professional repaint to rejuvinate the previously faded original red. Undergoing this repaint, the body shop was astounded at how rust free and "all metal" the body was. No fibreglass here, all original panels.
The Interior is a black. Bolsters, headliner, sun visors, and trim are all in black. Steering wheel is the highly desirable Moto Lita in excellent shape. Guages are clean, dash is clean with a couple small nicks here and there. seats are in very good shape.
Car is sold with two sets of rims, the original grey wire wheels (set of 5) and the set of 5 black wire wheels, which the car rides on now. Tires new last summer. Black wire wheels in like new condition. Car is also sold with a set of 4 new chrome wheel spinners.
Overall this vehicle is in excellent condition. Reliable, clean, and restored where necessary. A very sold condition 2 or high 3 vehicle .
