NEWS::: For those of you who have visited over 5,000 times, obviously there is some interest. I've started cataloguing more than 500 pics of the project and expect to have it put together in a different format by the middle of February. I've added a p' shopped picture of my last MCC 7 build, which you'll see again in my driveway, in the final presentation. This ad is aimed specifically at experienced builders. If you've never been deeply involved in the construction of (at least) a "kit car", this is NOT for you..... Ken Howatson started Motor Carriage Concepts (MCC) when the Fejer Brothers sold him their Lotus 7 kit car project in the '70s. I gave Ken his first job (apprentice) in the trade and over the years we became close friends as Ken went in stages from my 2-bay operation to Crew Chief for George Eaton in serious USAC racing. George Eaton is one of the famous Eaton Family. {think department store} sons, and retired young from racing. A helpful incoming message told me they didn't know what the car was... thank you for that. If you don't get what the car is, respectfully, don't worry about it. The Ad isn't aimed at you.

Ken was a fantastic fabricator. He could weld anything metallic to anything else metallic with any kind of welding equipment and his fiberglass work was perfection. He was producing superb MCC 7 cars for a while and asked me for some help with an electrical issue (Ken's Achilles heal). This culminated in me working weekends building custom wiring harnesses for his MCC 7s. These cars were the highest level of this type of sports car back then. We spent a lot of weekends together. On a typical Saturday morning, I was at Ken's shop wiring a car when the phone rang. Ken wasn't there yet (unusual), so I picked up the phone. It was Ken's wife. All she could say is "Ken's dead". I'll tell the story when I put the rest of this project together.

If you're a builder or experienced hobbyist with questions, you can call me on my cell 416-999-9468 or home 905-826-8527 or email me at I'm looking for $13,500.00 for the package, which includes all of the support you need to finish the project. The entire project is in safe, clean, warm, dry storage @ $204.00 per month. It's a 5' x 15' locker and would be a huge project to view. I'll be happy to take a serious buyer to see it, but the viewing process would need to be a delivery process at the same time. If you are interested & qualified , but wish to stay in the background for now, let me know. I could send you the pics as I edit & catalogue them, before I put them up on the net. You could also ask for specific looks you'd like to see. Geoff
