The need for power is growing. You represent a continent and are in charge of developing the energy sources for your people to thrive. You can choose to become Green Queen and assemble solar, wind and hydroelectric plants. Or aim to be Well Digger and exploit oil and geothermal resources. Better yet, try to diversify to ensure the planet’s energy security.
Geopowr is a tile laying game. Each player places tiles to connect energy quadrants. Every time a set of 5 quadrants is connected, you gain 5 points and add an energy cube to build a construction site, power plant or power tower. Players are given mission cards for personal bonuses and global ambitions, as well as synergies for working together. The player with the most points worth of energy and bonuses when the cubes runs out, wins.
At the heart of Geopowr is an interpersonal dynamic that mirrors the global challenge of creating stable power for your region as well as your neighbours. You can choose to work together for the good of the planet, or battle it out for the glory of your region at the expense of the others. Will you choose to win for your tribe or the entirety of the earth?
