Fur Coat Women’s Vintage Early 1940’s

Women’s Vintage Black Seal Dyed Rabbit Fur Coat. Early 1940’s from L. P. Lazare and Co. Furriers, Montreal, Quebec. Worn by a medium-small woman probably Size 10-12. The coat a relatively straight cut and is 36 inches in length from the top neck button to the hem. Light colored fur collar, probably, mink. There are no tears and the inner lining is in very good condition. Beautiful soft fur in very good condition and with some detailed features such as: 2 outside pockets, one zippered pocket inside and one slit pocket inside. It has an inner silk tie that fastens the coat close to the body, and 3 large outside buttons to close the coat. The inner sleeves each have 1 snap that can be used to fit the sleeve close to the wrist, and the bottom of the coat also has a snap - keeping out wind and cold. There is minimal wear on the outside edge of the left pocket and around the buttonholes. This is a very warm vintage coat. It comes from a smoke and pet free home.
