1969 Ford Mustang GT convt

Long-time Ford enthusiast downsizing collection 1969 Mustang GT convt H code 351W 2V, 4 speed toploader transmission. Factory options include; Black Power Top glass backlite, GT Equipment Group, Wide Oval Tires, P/Steering, P/Brakes(discs in front), Console and AM Radio. The GT was a very rare option in 1969 the last year offered until 1982. This car was a retail factory order with a unique set of options resulting in a 1 of 1 build combination as verified by the attached Elite Marti Report. The seldom seen color Black Jade was offered only one year 1969. Total Mustang production was 299, 824 cars, 11,307 were standard convertibles and 1,127 were GTs. Factory Black Jade exterior color, paint condition is very good Nugget Gold interior, excellent condition with a new dash pad, carpet, reconditioned seat belts, new instrument cluster and lenses and the factory AM Radio is in place Black convertible roof in excellent condition goes up and down without any issues. Glass good all around same for the chrome and the rest of the car. Have original show Polyglas GTs installed for Day One look and have another set with modern radials. Rear end 3.00 non posi. Originally sold in Scarborough Ontario by Donway Ford has been in Western Canada many years owned by a series of mature collectors. A recently completed thorough freshening of the car included rebuilding the original engine, transmission including clutch. All done to stock specifications with factory 2V carb, intake and exhaust manifolds in place. New complete correct exhaust system with the transverse muffler and rolled split exhaust tips. Battery, correct cable set, trunk dress up kit, new front and rear suspensions, new fuel tank and lines, redone front brakes, complete new underdash and underhood wiring harnesses. New correct Autolite belts hoses etc Petronix was added to the distributor for better reliability. A Hurst shifter was added for smoother shifting original parts go with car. The cooling system was inspected, cleaned and painted correct colors. This Mustang was produced at the Metuchen New Jersey assembly plant. During the refresh attention was paid to correct finishes etc utilized at that plant following Mustang Club of America concours judging guidelines. The cars differed amongst the three plants. All proper factory inspection markings and paint daubs are in place. Attention to detail was stressed throughout. I finished the car with the plan for a long-time ownership and to be proudly shown with my other cars. I cannot drive and show them all unfortunately so I've make the decision to downsize my collection. I have never seen another similarly equipped Mustang in 41yrs of the hobby which is what drew me to it. The rarity of the color combination and overall package will provide someone a great opportunity for an eye catching car.
