We’re downsizing our herd of dairy goats and we have a couple does that we would like to offer to a new home.
Our goats are all well-handled, feed organic hay, grain and given a regular ration of goat mineral, kelp, and herbal dewormer. They also receive an annual copper bolus.
Friendly, affectionate and easy to handle; this recently freshened doe, Indigo, was born on our farm just 4 years ago. Each year she has delivered triplets and we decided to give her a break from milking this year so she can put her full weight back on.
We’re drying her up and bottle-feeding her kids, so she will NOT be in milk.
She will be an excellent companion in a small herd, plus she will produce healthy offspring in years to come.
