Makarios Farms has turkey poults hatching about April 17. We also have a second hatch coming about April 29.
They are from heritage breeds including White Holland, Beltsville Small White and Standard Bronze. These poults are not guaranteed pure as we didn't have the opportunity to separate our breeding stock right away, but will make wonderful additions to the Thanksgiving (or Christmas) table. These poults will be sold straight run, at $15/poult. Heritage breeds produce birds that are juicy and flavourful.
Our birds are fed certified organic feed as well as forage.
